Episode 40: The Return of the Good, the Bad, and the Weird

Our 40th Episode, and we’re officially middle-aged now. That means it’s the perfect time to re-examine our youth and look back at Episode 3, when we rated the best, worst, and weirdest units in the armies we play. How has 6th Edition in general, and the new Chaos Marine codex in particular, changed our perceptions of these units? Have winners been dethroned? Have new units fallen to the bottom of the barrel? Listen to find out how we think our various armies are shaking out in the new edition. Also, we give a couple of shout-outs to friends of the show who can use your support right now to complete some personal goals. All this, and hobby progress too!

Something you seem to have missed about the mutilator, it has one more than a terminator, as it always has a pair of close combat weapons, whereas terminators only have +1 attack when buying a pair of lightning claws. Mutilators have to have an army built around the way they function (which is a footslogging 2nd charge unit), but with Mark of Nurgle they can be incredibly valuable. Disregard them at your peril.
