It’s time to record on-location again, and this time we’re doing it from the Flying Monkey GT in Wichita, Kansas! Also, we’ve got a special guest host – Dave Arimond from the Renegade Open GT! There’s a little bit of everything – Beerhammer, Knight Jousts, Grudge Matches, and an interview with the winner – as well as coverage of the latest releases and your rules questions. A good time was had by all, and we’re happy to share it with you!

Another great show! I just wanted to chime in on the Black Legion supplement. Someone on the podcast mentioned that vanilla CSM were left out. If you look at page 50 in th BL supplement it States that all CSM detachments can be considered BL detachmennts. Do you think this temporary bandaid for CSM to hold us off another edition?

    Hi Guys,

I have an alternate idea about the question of piling in, different initiative steps, and ending combat. Because the RAW says “If both players’ Pile In moves combined would be insufficient to bring any combatants
back together… the assault comes to an end”, I would suggest that if the first player’s pile-in doesn’t get them into base contact, that you move on to the next player’s initiative step and have them pile in as well. Of course, if one player has multiple consecutive initiative steps before the other one, things still get weird.

It’s not the most elegant of solutions but it does reduce the likelihood of combat ending with units just staring at each other from one inch away.
